To start the program, double click the icon shown on Desktop or go to Start\All Programs\DigitalOfficePro\WordFlashPoint and click on WordFlashPoint.
This will initialize the program and the main dialog of WordFlashPoint will be shown.
From software interface click on the Add Files button. This will allow you to select the Word documents to be converted to Flash format.
Select the Word documents to be converted and click on OPEN button.
In the General tab give the output folder path. The output Flash files are saved here after conversion.
WordFlashPoint Word to Flash Converter comes with many attractive features.
When it comes to player output style, you have two options:
1. Standard: Looks and works similar to Acrobat reader.
2. Flipbook: Works like a flash based page flipping book.
User can configure settings of conversion from the software interface. Click on the "Settings" to configure the conversion settings.
Background: Here user can set the Flash output background color. Default background color is White.
Flash Version: Here user can set the compatible Flash version of output file.
Frame rate: Increasing and decreasing the Frame rate effect the quality and size of Flash movie.
JPEG quality: JPEG quality is the used to increase or reduce the quality of image used in the word document.
Add preloader: Allows you to add a preloader incase your file size is high and may take more time for the file to load.
Compressed: Tick on Compressed for getting reduced file size output.
There are special settings for flip book creation. User can customize the look and feel of flip book by adding custom cover pages and back pages. There are three cover page designs available:
- Default Cover Page
- First and last page as Cover Page (minimum 3 pages required)
- Custom Cover Page
After configuring the conversion settings, Click on the "Convert" button to start the Flash conversion process. (Conversion process takes time depending on the file size of document) It will pop up a dialog as shown below.
After conversion process is done, you get ‘Congratulations’ message.
Select Open Folder to view the converted Flash files.
Select Close to Exit from the conversion process.
